CALLERS FOR DRESSAGE CLASSES Callers are permitted in all classes. Callers must not call so loudly that they interfere with the focus of competitors in other arenas.
DEPARTURE FROM ARENAS Once you have finished your event, please do not restrict access to arenas for other competitors, keep gates and laneways clear.
SHOWJUMPING The 2023 rules for Showjumping can be found here www.equestrian.org.au/Jumping-rules With the exception of entries in the Six Bar competition, a pony or horse may compete in only two events at successive height levels. All classes will be judged under Table A5.1 as described in Article 238.2.1 (One round plus one jump off against the clock).
RULES FOR WORKING HUNTER This is a three-phase event. Jumping: The jumping course will require five separate jumping efforts each of which will be worth 10 marks (total 50 marks) to which a further 20 marks will be added for style (total 70 marks) and from which the following deductions will be made:
1st Refusal or rail: - 10;
2nd Refusal or rail: - 20;
3rd Refusal or rail - elimination;
Fall or horse or rider - elimination.
Workout on the flat: This phase will require walk, trot, canter and hand gallop. (20 marks). Conformation: This phase will be judged last and will require the pony/horse to be unsaddled and led out (10 marks). These three scores will be totalled to give a mark out of 100. The winner will be the horse/pony with the highest total. * Each of the three phases will use a separate judge.
